I have purchased a few rare coins but these Marilyn Monroe One Dollar notes may be just about up there in the really rare section because I cant seem to find out if these bills were indeed released officially. I have the commemorative Marilyn Two-Dollar note which is readily available for purchase on ebay but nothing comes up as regards to these notes. Still, a fine collection to my Marilyn display.
These are all unofficial, after the BEP, types of things. Real notes, but the portrait is glued on.

Thank you TA - no wonder I couldnt find them anywhere on-line! So, who can tell me: as a Marilyn Monroe collector as opposed to a coin collector, is this item of any value?
