This is an Affentaler Spatburgunder light red Rhine Wine bottle. Produced and bottled by Adolf Huber. This particular bottle was imported by the "United Vintners Inc." of Cleveland Ohio, so it was bought locally. The unusual green bottle has an embossed gold monkey wrapped around it. The original label is pretty worn so the date is missing the decade. All I can read is 19_2. The one's online range from the 50's through the 70's but this label looks much older and totally different from those years. It's kind of unusual and in pretty good condition with the cork rolling around inside the bottle. -Mike

When I was a kid I loved these kind of bottles! There must be a whole collection of unopened ones down at my father's cellar! (as a M.D. he received dozens of bottles every Xmas time, and he never drunk alcohol, so they must still be there :) )
