Found these British Plates and fell in love. They are decorated with transfer underglaze and a blue on white design of a bird returning to its nest. The edges are scalloped and embellished with gilt. There is a registration mark on the back for November 20, 1879 and on another a registration no. 1114. We have no clue as to the maker, filtered through the common Worcester perhaps?
