I received this from relatives in South America even though it's an Italian doll. I don't know if it's worth much.

Manikin will let you know. She is a doll that loves dolls. If she doesn't know then nobody does.
1940s Brevettato doll and doll most likely made by Alberani Vecchiotti of Milano . She is collectible and has value ! She looks like she is in beautiful condition too !
A few to look at . The prices are asking not sold prices . They go for more in Italy . Wonderful that she is all original and with correct shoes . The word Brevettato means Patent in Italian

I think I was typing when you were fhr :-) Thanks for your support my dear friend !
I should add these were sold 1940s into the 1950s .Italian dolls are not equal in value either depends on maker although many have same characteristics .
Thanks for the response! I had a garage sale today and I did NOT put it out :)
Gonna check it out further! It has been hauled around with us for years, nary a strand out of place. When I originally did research, I found everything from $10 to 10,000. So I didn't know where to start.
Well it is NOT 10,000 . Not sure where you are but Brev dolls don't come up as often as other Itialian dolls Maybe you can watch the one I posted close . You can only go by closed auctions . These dolls were not played with . they must have been just for display since most all the ones I have seen are in wonderful condition not played with . Glad she didn't go in yard sale . Had she been marked different then I would have said yard sale . You know who she is now and her maker . You should not expect much more than 100 and maybe less . Good luck
and she is solved .
Mani I need to get pic's of my friends spare bedroom for you. No bed just shelves all the way around, floor to ceiling with unopened Barbie dolls. She had started collecting them 30 or 40 years ago as an investment that would grow. I looked a few of them up and I was shocked what they sell for. Oddly we live in hurricane country and they aren't insured.
You can post them fhr or email them to me . My email is under profile :-) Would love to see them fhr ! I have separate insurance on dolls under hmeowners . The hard part is getting a expert to appraise them . There are some in your area in fact just had a member of our club just moved there . They are not covered under homeowners after a certain value and need photo's for ins also . I can check your area for expert on Barbies some of which fell in price others have maintained or increased .
