Fell in love with this oil painting after seeing it listed on craigslist and paid very little for it. I can't seem to find much about the artist.

Oh my! It surely couldn't be the same artist? I paid maybe $30 frame and all!
It could very well be.... compare the signatures. They are almost identical. Of course, artists signatures aren't exact on every painting, but it has the same long stroke of the T, all capital letters, the formation of the A leans to the left at the top, the E strokes are elongated.... I think it's the same artist.
The subject matter is obviously very different, but that doesn't mean that he didn't do one of the paintings early in life and the other later in life. You just never know!

On my painting is the old barn in nature, and the size is 90 x 60 cm.
I will be thankful for any information...
