Nice clear maple piece. I seriously doubt many today remember using one. Today you have to have a steering wheel or shopping cart in front of you before you use the phone. Makes me recall the days when everyone had a party line. That wouldn't go over to good now.

I remember my grandmother having a party line fhr and you had break into their conversation to ask them if you could use phone. They were way out in country and newer phone service was slow to get to area . You also could listen in on other people's calls and I am sure no one would like that today .
