    The Chicago & Lake Superior Railroad running between Cambridge & London, Wisconsin (about 4 miles) was Wisconsin's shortest common carrier railroad. It operated for 20 years from 1897 to 1917, connecting with the Chicago & North Western at London.

      I dug up a RR switch handle with "Superior Chicago" on it. Thanks for cluing me to its origin! 105 years makes for lots of rust.
