1800's Hand Painted & Signed Brooch/Pendant

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a great day.

Here is a Hand Painted Brooch or Pendant of the Madonna that I have been told was over 100 years old. As you can see on the back , is the silver mark, 800. I believe this is European. Exactly where, I don't know as there are no other markings.

I wish I could capture just how breath taking this is in person.

The covering is actual rounded glass and it's said that it is painted on ivory. I can not make out the signature on here, but wish I did know who painted it. I will take apart the back, although I really don't like doing that, so afraid something might go wrong, but I'll be careful and try to get the best shot of the sig as I can and post it. Hopefully, someone will recognize it.
