I got in love at first glance with these vase, so Jugendstil, the german art nouveau. It was too expensive for me although it was broken, sure the base has been replaced by a wooden one. The vase is 25 cm high, in a very classical balaustrade shape. It has three oval black panels with gilt basket of flower contrasting the golden with the black, this contrast is smooth with the ambar color of the upper overlay of glass that is cut to clear following the black ovals and lines. All over the ambar spirals enamelled in gold. It was in exihibition in the best shop of antiques in Córdoba, every week end I looked at it till once it was no loger there. Usually the vendor is and old rude woman so we do not usually ask anything but once she was no there and we got in with Sergio. The vase was inside and we decided to buy it altough it is broken and was expensive.
I just love it!
Incredible.
And the wooden base has been well done so it retains it's beauty. Congratulations on your piece.
