Dredged this up in Biloxi,Ms while deepening the Biloxi commercial harbor.
Lip: outward rolled finish
Base: pontil scarred
Everything suggests it was an early preserves jar but haven't been able to find much info on it.

This bottle has a post-base mold conformation.
Regular full length mold
Early food bottle(pickles,olives,brandies fruit, ect.)
