I recently purchased a box of GLASS PLATE negatives with a note inside: "Old photos of Quaker Missionaries in Alaska." This was taken in the late 1800's as the photos with people have Victorian dress and no vehicles. Can Anyone recognize the style, religious affiliation of this church? It appears to be being built as there is scaffolding outside the doors. Yes...its a long shot posting this one, but you never know.

Looks more like a Mission style Church from California.

Wonder if PHIL can do some magic on the Photo and highlight the darker areas, and pull in something we can not see with our eyes here.

Walksoftly: the website referral was very helpful....I have additional glass plate negatives that I am trying to figure out. many are labeled (Juneau, Sitka, Alaska) so it will be interesting to determine where in the world some of these were taken.

Hopefully if they are labelled, then they are correct.
Are you going to post more?
