I am just wondering if anyone can share any information on this vase. I found it packed away in my basement with my other items, but don't know anything about it. I received it as a gift over 20 years ago, and forgot all about it! It reads Kosta SS164 on the bottom, and measures approx. 4 1/4" h, 3" w, 1 5/8" d.
I know what this is!!!!! kosta mona morales schildt

Thanks, Sean. Any idea how old it may be? I wish there was a date on it.
its maybe around the 1950's.
Your very welcome Newton!!
"Mona Morales-Schildt worked at Kosta from 1958-1970. Most of her designs are signed. However, there is no uniform way of signing that was used. Early pieces were signed “SH” and the model number. Later pieces were signed “Mona Schildt”, “M. Morales” or “Morales”. Sometimes the model or serial number is not mentioned at all."

These are quite valuable and sought after vases nowadays. And very beautiful!!
The range is called Ventana and are the most desirable of Morales Schildt designs!
Thank you, everyone.
SS164 stands for "Schildt Slipat" (Schildt Cutted in english). Model number 164 I think.
