A picker friend brought this to me today. I love the red color to it. i don't know anything else about it though. any help on age, rarity, or interesting will be appreciated!

Sorry, cant help but let me said...I love it!
The can was used to dispense bulk oil.Should be a small metal marker in the neck to indicate a 5 gallon measure.The cans were filled and delivered to stations then poured into 'hi boys" or oil dispensers.

The lid would go inside the opening and lock with a partial turn.
