Houze Art vintage Season Greetings or Happy Holidays "stained glass" tumblers

Set of vintage HOUZE holiday glasses are a popular item during Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping season! With the stained glass look, and colorful presentation, they make a beautiful serving set for the holidays! If found in original boxes (as shown) the collectible value increases somewhat, but generally these are found in small sets of two or quite a few at your second hand stores during seasonal times. A normal original box may have six in the set, in either perfect condition, or sometimes with spotting. Generally what happens is that over the years some folks will have dishwasher machine-washed them causing a milky film to form on the colored areas, so that is the thing to watch out for during examination. Most people want the clearest "nearly new" looking sets. These shown in the photo were in pristine condition. Either way, with the higher costs of USPS shipping (because of weight and size of box outerwraps) on heavy glass items, additional costs of bubblewrap (which has been inflated well beyond it's actual value and cost to manufacture by supplies companies) the cost to adequately pack and ship these out makes them a harder sell than they were just a few years ago (prior to 2013). Generally, one might expect to get around 5 dollars a glass or less during the 2012 season.
