french victorian jewellery box, touristic item from montmartre

il love this box because it is a souvenir from montmartre where my grand father wondered to go and it never happen. he was a talented costume designer for theater, movies.... and also for our familly when we where visiting him in prague in summer hollydays-) he get lot of work on his old "singer" sewing machine... when he was young, he planned to go in paris whith one friend to work for a parisian tailor. unfortunally the 2nd war starder and he stayed in prague to care of his mother and familly... after war he met my grand mother, and they get married.

this box remind me ever my grandfather who was alway honnest, fair and patient.
