This ashtray is usually sold as Fletcher’s CLAM, but I am not sure it is (it probably is not). As you can see, the two halfs are identical –as in any other case we’ve already seen-, but they’re asymmetrical, what means that you can join them in a way you get a standard GEMINI/CLAM looking ashtray or you get a slanted one…

I have seen these being sold mostly in Germany, so I guess it was a German company that made them, but there’s no sign at all of which one.

How unique austro ! Love that they fit together on a angle and the colors too !

Thanks Mani! The only think that makes me believe it could be by Fletcher himself is that they fit in angle, which is a clever solution... but it could also be the trick to avoid being accused of plagiarism :)

As for the colours I totally agree with you: green and orange look so amazing together!!!

I actually like this one best, even if it was a ripoff.
      That asymmetry is brilliant!

Thanks racer and tom for loving!!!

The asymmetry is the biggest asset of this one, plus it involves a pretty nice study of shape, so whoever made it perhaps deserves to be bettr known.
