    I dont know much about antique pottery other than what I have Googled...but I have not been able to locate a vase resembling this. Can anyone fill in the blanks for me? I grew up in the neighborhood of Roseville Ohio, my dad actually found this vase in a dump...back in the day (1950's) people dumped things along country roadsides...as this was.

      Thank you racer4four. Since growing up in what seems to have once been a pottery culture one would think I would have a better clue and knowledge but its not the case. There are still many pottery 'barns' along many country roadsides in Southeastern Ohio these days, but I live in Florida now and there doesnt seem to be a local place (Tampa Bay) that Ive found that can help me with this piece. So I thought this forum would be a good place to know more.

      klmgems1, thank you, it is a pretty piece ????, no nicks, chips or cracks. Do you have any advice on where to go to learn more about it? Haven't had much from this site but I like looking around here.
