SKELGAS PORCELAIN SIGN

This heavy porcelain sign measures 7" by 60".Skelgas was a bottled gas product of the SKELLY OIL CO. Esbeck was located in a small town in south west Iowa,Elk Horn,a Danish community.I know they were in business in the 50's and probably as far back as the 40's and maybe the 30's.Note the shape of the S in each word.Perhaps some thing to do with the Danish background??
