Not sure how to describe this....the first layer is white, then a layer of yellow and cased in clear. It has all the characteristics of Czech glass and one of their favorite colors. For me, one of the tests is how it feels...and it sure feels like it is Czech. Am I a nut case or do others test the feel???

I don't think it Czech either and agree it is more likely Danish.
This style of canister made from a clean bright colour and cased internally in white was a real style around the 60s and I don't recall ever seeing any made by the Czechs. At that time they seemed to mainly make pressed glass or hot worked shapes.
It could be from a number of makers but check Holmegaard of this period to get an idea of the style I am talking about.

I agree, looks Scandinavian, there are some Murano series similar to this too (like http://www.design-and-arts.com/ebay/auk_2014_05/96625_01.jpg) but to me this looks more Scandinavian.
