Found this tucked in the back of a shelf at our local Salvation Army. It's nicely painted with stylized flowers outlined in gold. There is a bit of a tan color on the shoulders and the neck has some sponged gold with the rim being trimmed in gold. The outside is satin but the interior is regular opaline glass. The bottom has a rough pontil with some black and the number 17 painted on the bottom in red. Fairly sure this is a piece of 19th century Bristol glass. -Mike-
That looks a bit like a pi symbol....are you sure it is not an irrational piece of glass?
Well now that you mention it...it does :)
