This is a classic and rare, Rose De France Ascher step cut Amethyst. The Amethyst it's so pale and clear that it just pops. This is one of my all time favourite Amethyst rings. The detailing is so fine and the intaglio is stunning. I have had this ring for a few years. This came out of an estate that the lady was selling off her grandmothers rings. She said it was not her style and she did not have others to pass it down to.
