Bronze ashtray showing little Red Riding Hood and her friend the Wolf. . About 100 years old. Bought in Canada by my grandfather who immigrated from Romania in the early 1900's. He came into Canada because Ellis Island wasn't taking anymore folks at that time. He learned the fur trade while he was there.
No markings on back or front. Looks like poured bronze from the back of the piece. Shows drips. Patina is dull and difficult to see image.
Just love this..My brother and I share custody of it now and again. I know NOTHING about it except it belonged to my imiigrant grandfather. If anyone knows... I'd love to hear. It's a mystery.
