My intention was never to collect scent/perfume bottles but some how I have ended up with a few pieces that fall into this category. I guess beautiful glass is beautiful glass regardless of its intended function.
From left to right:
a shaker for powder probably Czech or Bohemian
a dresser bottle/ flacon possibly Heckert
the interloper - sitting in the middle of the Loetz miniatures is snuff/perfume bottle made from Spinach Jade, 1890
and of course the sample perfume bottles by Loetz made for the Liberty department store in London, England no larger than 2 inches tall
I didn't realise how pretty glass can be until I joined this forum. They are absolutely gorgeous.
