Northern Electric and Western Electric Desk Telephone, Holograph Corporation, West Hartford Connecticutt

This is a dial phone which was a collaboration between Northern Electric and Western Electric. There is a sticker mentioning Holograph Corporation, West Hartford Connecticutt. What era is it. I'm guessing the late 1950s because it is plexiglass or clear plastic, base is black plexiglass and it is also a dial phone. Very curious. Was it ever in production or did it just not catch on? The center of the dial says " Like this phone? Call your business office" There is also a Bell System logo on the dial. The black base of this phone is 12" square and 2 3/4 inches deep. The dome covering the phone works is 7 inches in diameter. Its handset/receiver is shiny silver.
