Well, it's here in St. Maarten! We certainly don't need bed warmers other than the ones we're with. If from here, I figure it's for putting ice or cold water to cool the sheets. Any thoughts about why this would be here? Incense burner, popcorn popper?
Now comes the hard part. Category?! Stamps? China? classic cars? I'll go with multi since I know "staff" will change it anyway!

It doesn't look like a real old one. They were sold in the 70-80's for decorations to hang next to the fireplace. You can pop popcorn in the fireplace with it.
bed cooler...I LOLed.
Before I won my wife at the church raffle I had one up here in the mtns... came in awful good in the winter for heating up my soup ....would hide it under the mattress at night ...duel purpose...don't ya know
Go for a wall hanger. Micro wave popcorn is quicker and cheaper to make. If you have a wife you don't need a bed warmer.
no one told me that fhrjr2,.... had to work that one out for myself.. But I;m fast on my feet ...lol
maybe use for a faceial or a little water and vicks .. to clean the nose out..brass plated, don't look that old,... missing parts in the holes ..? I digress lol
If all else fails............maybe a bunn warmer rather than a bed warmer? Keep things moving.

Kerry, U are talking formal & probably having to using paper towels for napkins. We use old hubcaps, discarded pots & whole tomato cans usually & wipe our hands on our cut-offs. We wash our "napkins" by getting in the ocean. Just partially kidding with U as I haven't been in the ocean in several yrs.. Jacky is complaining a bit about my cut-offs that stand up in the corner by themselves, but I explain that the odour keeps the mosquitoes away. It's worked so far & I'm resistant to change! LOL

Hey, weren't these called "butlers" too? For picking up cigarette butts...Or did those have short handles?
