Picked this up recently at an estate sale. Really liked the simplicity of the piece. Was surprised to see it was Danish, but I can't make out the artists stamp inside. Any information would be appreciated. Also, any input on cleaning it would be great. I dusted it, but it still seems kind of dirty. Can I use water to wash it, or will that damage the finish?

I recognize the mark of Knabstrup: the symbol to the right of the photo.

The beautiful figure is by Johannes Hansen, I believe.
I think I can see his mark to the left.

There are two versions of her on the Knabstrup site: Knaelende Pige. It seems they were placed in the garden.
