*** Eagle Manufacturing Company began in 1894 as a decorative glass factory and has grown and changed with the times. The technology that let Eagle make metal lids for glass jars led the way into the manufacturing of metal supply cans for the railroad industry in 1907. These cans led to the current safety container line. Eagle also became well known for their pump oilers. In the 1970's, Eagle expanded production to include cabinets for the storage of flammables. Their product line now includes a new line of Haz-Mat containment products and in 2000 expanded their line to include a complete range of guards and protectors.
