This is an old hand blown green bottle that has a very nice shape. It is about 10 inches tall and 3.75 inches at the top then it tapers down to 2.75 inches at the bottom. There's a chip around the outside of the rim and it looks like there was a bubble there at one time that was probably too close to the edge so it chipped out. It's too bad because otherwise it is in perfect condition. I know very little about glass so if anyone has any information that they would like to share I would be much obliged.
Thanks
beautiful and welcome to cw!!
Thank you Sean68.
Your very welcome Vrgdc :)!!
This is a gin bottle ... looks like a nice old one.
twentiethc, How did you come to that conclusion?
Hey Vrgdc! Gourgeous gin bottle! All the information you could ever want on them can be found at historicbottles.com ran by Bill Lindsey.
This is a link to its gin section;should be halfway down the page:

P.s. you should put that in the Pontil bottled section as well. Very nice glass pontil scar on bottom
Thanks Dredgedirty. I'll try to move it to the pontil section.
