This is a wooden box measuring 17 in. long 12 3/4 in. wide by 5 1/2 in. depth. It has a 4 1/4 in. wooden handle with brass hardware. The bottom
is very old laminated wood which leads me to believe one might be able to date it. I believe it to be an original coke item owned by or ordered by Coca Cola Co. The pictures tell the rest of the story and perhaps someone can
figure out what I have and solve this mystery. P.S. The rivets are all brass
and the sides of the box are a solid soft wood and appears to have a varnish look.

    Unsolved Mystery

The image was used on the '36 calendar. Artist signature "N.C. Wyeth" printed under the clam basket, looks to be cut off right there though. Hard to tell if it's an actual calendar top, or just a copy, without better pictures (wide shot, close up, more pixels help too). Will be interested to hear what others think.

Calendar top glued to box. Minimal value.

      Interesting preservation method...
