Going back to Murano glass, this owl was a souvenir my mother brought me from her Venetian trip sometime in the 1980s... I used to collect owl figurines at the time so whenever my parents traveled they always brought some wuth them.
This one is one of the nicest glass ones I've ever seen. The long legs and wings, the ed colour, I love the pose too... it looks like a bit of a self-consciously handsome owl... LOL
It stands about 8 cm tall (althogh as it's kept in a box now it's hard to be accurate about it).
He's gorgeous and justifiably proud!
