This is the ugliest pitcher I have ever seen. I bid on this many, many months ago and it never went higher than the initial opening bid of $9.99. LOL, so I thought someone had at least would place another bid.
So hence .....as the story goes I won the auction and upon arrival.....I was right! What came over me to bid on such a ugly creepy pitcher?
I would love any information on this pitcher....it stands 5.75" and paper thin and light as a piece of paper.....
It's not all that bad!
Don't say it's ugly... :(
pops52, LOL...it is to me..:) Sorry! Compared to the Bohemian glass... :0
Not 100% certain, but I think it is possibly Israeli glass. The decoration looks the comparable ... usually very thin glass. often they have paper labels attached by thread.
twentiethc could be right - I was thinking either Israeli, or Grecian - Lipasmata Glass Works. They also made thin-walled glass with a rustic look.
I really don't think it's ugly either...kind of quirky mid-century look, but not ugly :)
Its what I call "awesome ugly"...quirky and unique
Austro, I will work on that thought :0
Val, this is funky to me too xxx
Twentiethe, you maybe right. Thanks!
Warren, thanks for the information
the beauty lies within,to be honest it has not the brightest colour but i have seen bright coloured objects more ugly....very interesting!
