Newly aquired rings in job lot

2 9crt i think? victorian gypsy type rings stones missing. They are identical but 1 is a womans and 1 a mans. hallmarks i cannot find anywhere. F.P then 9 then 2 stars. i was told the 9 was for 9crt plumb gold. but i dont know if this is true. i have no gold tester left .but they are not magnetic and they dont change colour when in vinegar. any ideas on the hallmarks.
