We hear that Polly gas began in the Teens or early twenties and stations were primarily independently owned. They seemed to be pretty popular along the West Coast and were finally bought out by the gulf oil Co in the late 50s or early 60s we are told. The Polly logo is very cute with the Green Parrot on it and anything Polly is very hard to find and quite valuable to collectors. Same old story of big Fish eating up the littler fish. This picture was taken at aaaLakeside Storage in Provo Ut and is right on the Main Street in town.

Actually I understand that this Poly pump has been moved to a different location inside of aaaLakeside Storage where it fits in better with some of the other pumps.
It probably looks a lot better not standing all Alone in the cold snowy weather! It is still available to see FREE of charge if you happen to be in Provo Ut. It is right next to Utah Lake State Park and just off of I-15 a short distance.
