    Hello, i have this and much more antiques at home for a long time, my home is full, but now i decided to know a little more about my items. Need a Name, Year or model or if possible an estimate price range. the back there is a seal saying "Kienzle Clock" Made in Württemberg. and at front says "American Swiss Watches, Cape Town, Made in Germany" so that is all information visible on the clock.
    So Thank You!.

      It could be an hour/half-hour strike or a quarterly strike. Looks like there are three chime rods so it would most likely be some sort of "bim-bam" pattern.

      the clock is actually working, but the rotation is faster than the normal.. it has ding dong or bim bam like you said every hour and half hour. thank you for the information. but has any one of you have at least an idea how much this is worth, i know its not the appropriate place, but im just curious, 'cause i bought this really very cheap. Thank you

      Search "Sold" listings for clocks similar to yours on eBay. That will give you some idea of what they are currently selling for.

      Just keep an eye on eBay.
      Try this search: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=bimbam++tambour+Clock&_sadis=10&_ipg=200&_sop=12&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&LH_Sold=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40%7CR40%7CR40&_dmd=1&LH_Complete=1&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xbim+bam++tambour+Clock&_nkw=bim+bam++tambour+Clock&_sacat=0
      It's not specific to Kienzle but it should still show what clocks such as your generally go for. Antiques in good shape generally sell for more than vintage or modern clocks.
