I would like to make a tribute CW style. These rings belonged to the two best people I've ever known. My grandparents. My grandmother, who died two weeks ago at the age of 84, had these in her possession. I knew about her ring, the blue one, but I did not know she had the black, which is my grandfather's high school ring.
My grandparents met in high school and were together until my grandfather died in 2006. My grandmother lived out the rest of her life with us: her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. These two rings signify a lifetime of love and memories, which all started around the dates stamped on the rings pictured above. Having one of these is great, but having the two together means so much more. They are each stamped 10K and have the Irvington, NJ shield on the front. One is from 1947, the other from 1948. What a special post and you are so lucky to have both of their rings . A Treasure to be sure. Sorry to hear of your Grandmothers passing I know how important they are in out lives . When I lost my Grandmother it was like a Best friend was gone . Thank you for sharing these beautiful rings and what they symbolize !

Sorry to hear about your grandmother but it sounds as if she had a lot of love around her the most precious commodity we have. Also by the way what top treasures you have in remembrance of both your grandparents. You & yours stay safe & happy. At least now your grandparents are together again
Hi there BHock45 I just recently realised my partner has his fathers ring or could be older not sure. Anyway way I can read most of the markings but not what they stand for will have to clean & get pictures. Any way it go the G.J then a castle head, then 375 with a ship anchor going left the last one at this stage I cannot read. Any Ideas I keep searching I'm just not quite getting exactly what I would like. Hope all is well where you are , have a top day.
Good Morning BHock45 I tried to upload my men's ring today & it wouldn't go down so I will keep trying. I think you will like it. I asked my partners mother the other day & she said it's been around ever since she can remember & they came to Australia in 1954 so it would be pre that. I gave the markings a clean & I still cannot read the last one. I'll keep trying & looking have a safe & happy day.
