    I rescued these on the way to the scrapyard.. The guy said they were railroad... I know one is some sort of whistle with the Westinghouse Airbrake symbol... Let me know what you guys think... Just didn't look like they belonged in the scrap yard..

      This is a Automatic Train Control whistle from the New Haven Railroad made by the General Railway Signal co. The one I had came out of a NH electric locomotive and the air operated whistle would sound if the engineer did not acknowledge a signal or took his foot off of the "dead man" pedal. Once the whistle sounded the engineer had to immediately respond to the alarm or this control would apply the brakes and shut the throttle down stopping the train. I posted photos of this type whistle complete about two years ago. It can still be viewed under railnsail. Nice item!
