The image is that of an excellent example of late 19th century miniature furniture. Measuring 30 x 9 1/2 x 7 inches, this item is either doll furniture or an salesman sample.
The bench has the stylized look of Rococo furniture. This evident due to the leg carving and scrolled feet.
The upholstery is padded with horse or pigs hair.
