I want to know if there is anyone from the Museum that would be interested in a guitar I have in my possession that could have some connection to Elvis or a member of his band. It is a Cameo 6 string acoustic Guitar. What makes it interesting is the song list and words to the songs taped to the guitar body. I can find no example of Elvis's printing just his handwriting. See what you think? Is it a valuable collectible of Elvis or his band? or could it be just a cover bands guitar. I gladly pay for your opinion. If it is a valuable discovery I could donate it or sell it to the museum. Rick Schultz Willow Grove PA 2156574155
This post is pretty hilarious - sorry Vavavoom17! it's just that as collectors we all dream of finding the holy grail, but i think you've jumped the gun on this one!
does anyone know about Elvis's handwriting or printing ?I think that is important to discover. I have contacted Graceland Museum. Thanks
Elvis had money, lot's of it. He bought strangers new Cadillacs when he saw them broke down on the roadside, after giving them a ride home. He fueled the fire of the which is better debate, Martin or Gibson. He would have no use for a $20.00 student guitar, especially an import (consider the time period and where he's from).
