Glorious piece from Elizabeth Maverick , Red umbrella gallery Fremantle.
That's her in the picture.
It's about a metre tall , thick, made to resemble a japanese kimono.
The colors are vibrant and if you look hard there are dichroic glass butterfly's throughout the piece. The colours change readily with the everchanging sunbeams.
I just love it.
It's appreciated everyday in my house.

The amazing thing is, originally , it didn't sell.
I first saw it about 5 years ago.
Returned to the gallery one day a little while ago, just to have a look and to my amazement, upon discussion with her, she said that she still had it!
Out it came , she dusted it off.
