My mother collects dolls and found this one at a thrift store. Wondering if anyone knows the name of it, or where it may have come from. It has EIH CO. INC. with a letter C with a circle around it, printed on the back of neck. Eyes open and close with eyeslashes. Shows three teeth in mouth. About 20" tall. moveable arms and legs made of composition and body of cloth.
Hi The photo is to small I need to see clear close up of face if you can add it :-) also photo oh her marking
Thank you for noticing. Hope these pictures are helpful.
Ok Now I can help :-) Thanks for better photos .
She is made by Horseman Dolls and it named Baby dimples Toddler . She dates late 1920's early 30's . She is made of composition and is a desired doll among composition collectors .I have one concern does she have molded hair under wig? She has crazing on her which detracts a bit from her but is common to find when they were not stored correct . She does not like drastic temperature changes or moisture , Do not get her wet . She would look lovely in vintage doll dress not the newer one she is wearing . You can buy a old dress on ebay fairly cheap .
