1927 dresser. Measures 36" h x 36" w x 19" d. Made in Birmingham England by the CWS Cabinet Works. For it being almost 90 years old it is very good condition. The drawer faces and sides of the cabinet are in like new condition. The only wear is to the top but only to the finish. No deep scuffs or scratches. Trying to determine the type of wood used. Burled walnut has been mentioned. I think I saved it from being covered in chalk paint.

I would bet that is a veneer because the style doesn't warrant an expensive wood.

Need larger photo's and more angles including joining of drawer front to side. Looks like veneer to me also but photo way to small . fhr is excellent in identifying wood but will need much larger and close us photo;s . Very nice from what I can see :-)

Beautiful grain & definitely veneer as the grain patterns are matched in reverse to each other & that just doesn't happen in nature.
