Another 1/72 Scale Hawagawa kit built with cockpit detailing, this time it is a Fw190, so called the Butcher Bird. Since this was built some 20 years ago, I have forgotten if this would have been an A or an F version of the Fw190 plane, and thus would like to ask some experts to help me out on this, plus if anyone would know of he unit(s), theatre of operations (the yellow nose band should indicate it as the European Theatre of operation, I think), its operational history, etc. Appreciated.

Stunning! How long did it take to put it together & painting the bodywork?

The entire plane, from start to finish, probably would have taken me 2-3 weekends to complete.

But the more time consuming part, when I did this (and the other planes), was to research for a good paint scheme to go for, look up some of its operational photos, to allow me to build the plane with correct historical background and details. Those probably would take days for me to get to the point before I would start building it.

Labor of love! Super detailing of the safety harnesses!

There are also brass etching parts added to the cockpit instrument panel, and to both interior sides of the cockpit, although a bit difficult to show them through pics.
