This heavy porcelain sign measures 19" by 23".It is my under standing that Fredericksen Tank Lines started hauling for Union Oil Co. in Ca. in the 40's,thus the shape of the sign, as Union Oil used the same shape at that time.I was told this by an older gentleman that drove for Fredericksen in the 70's.F.T.L. is still in business.This sign would have been used at a terminal,either on the building or fence.
