Picked these up at our local GW which has been basically empty most of the Summer. A pair of cute little Staffordshire Spaniels made by Beswick Pottery England. Both have an impressed mark with a serial number. They are a mirrored pair. Slightly different in size and decoration so I think they're meant to be male and female dogs. Sadly one is broken and glued. The whole face has come off and been glued back on. There's also a small hairline down the back. I didn't even notice it right away, but it could have been lined up better before gluing. The other is in perfect condition. Even the gilding shows minimal wear on both. I believe they're vintage and date from the 50's. Not too bad for ninety -nine cents each. -Mike-
