(1 item)
Cast metal (bronze?) figurines at bottom, woman and young girl with churn? Height 16-1/2 " including glass vase. Base is 3-3/4" deep and 5-3/8" wide & 3/4 thick appears to be marble. No markings or signature. Vase at top is cone shaped with ruffled or fluted top.
I was searching for some unusual brass or bronze item to incorporate into an oil painting I am planning on doing. I ran across this on craigslist and purchased it from a woman in Pelzer, SC. She did not have any information on it.
The base and cast metal part seems to be in good shape other than normal wear for an obvious vintage item like this. The cone shaped green glass vase with ruffled top does have a missing piece where it was broken off. The glass is approximately 3/16" thick and has a slightly rough texture, inside and outside (almost sandy feeling) although it appears to be blown and not cast. There are no visible seams.
It appears to be perhaps Art Deco, maybe circa 1920's.
I have spent hours trying to locate something similar on the internet with no avail. I would appreciate any information about this.

kivatinitz ... Thank you for the photo of the similar piece. I followed it to see what they said about it and could not locate it. If you see this will you help me find the information about it? Thank you so very much!
