Egg on a Pedestal

This egg joined my collection years ago. I think I found it at a yard sale before I became a thrifting addict :). The egg was on the pedestal but it was a temporary fix. The only marking I've found is on the bottom of the pedestal and it looks like a trade mark symbol. It reminds me of a beautiful blue & gold German egg I once saw on television. Except, the blue & gold egg had Mary and Christ on the front.
