Just happened to be driving by the "Golden Acres" retirement center and noticed they were having a yard sale. It was later in the day so it was winding down. They have a big gazebo on the grounds and there were a few tables under that. I spied this necklace just laying on a table with a bunch of odds and ends. I picked it up and was surprised at how heavy and cool to the touch it was. It's 30 " long and each ivory colored pearl is separated by a double knot. The clasp is a silver barrel shape studded with rhinestones. You push down on the one end and the clasp slides out. Push it in and it clicks shut. I'm not going to say they are real but it is nicely put together. They pass some of the tests but they don't feel gritty against your teeth or when rubbed against each other producing a fine dust. Of course none of these tests are 100% fool proof. I'll will say they sure have a beautiful luster though. - Mike-
Thanks Ken :) They are pretty nice for a dollar even if they're not real.
