(708 items)
8" tall. ( head of eagle to base)
7" wide ( wing to wing)
One eagle faces left the other faces right.
One has felt on the bottom the other pictured has been removed by someone.....not us.
Purchased in Chase City, VA at a small flea market for my brother.... another back woods road trip to his house in Drake Branch, VA. He loves them and has already put the on his end tables. Just an awesome pair of lamps and best of all .......he was one happy man when he got these.
What "Secondary Category" should I choose for these lamps?
Phil....I really thought they were marble. It's a good thing I don't collect stuff like this. I went online after your post and checked out some alabaster eagle lamps...I'm glad I got a great price on this set because some of those prices were crazy. He still loves them
Thanks Phil....I corrected description.
Gorgeous lamps !
Manikin thank you :)
Phil.... you have amazing and beautiful items. Your house looks like a museum.... love the photos. I believe these lamps have been rewired. ... There is a hole on each wing at the back .... see picture 2... If you are able to zoom in you can see it. I think they originally had a round globe that rested on the top.
Personally, I would rewire them with a new rayon cloth covered cord. The wire now just doesn't do them any justice.
