Attached are photos of a bird sculpture I have, and I have no clue to what kind of bird it is. Grandparents traveled worldwide from Europe to Asia to Australia, and picked up many souvenirs over the years. It is either glass or ceramic, approx. 7 1/2" high and 6 1/2" at its widest point. Certainly odd looking and no doubt an abstract. I'm thinking it is some type of wren?? Any info you can provide would be appreciated.

I think this is meant to be the great Australian swamp bird, the Mottled Big Eyed Swirlybum. Not to be confused with the Mottled Pin Eyed Checkerbum, which has a similar body and stance.

Yeah sorry, just being a smart a**e!... I have no idea really except to say I love it and would love to own it. It makes me feel happy inside!
