    hi this was in a box of other items i got from my local auction, i know nothing about it apart from what you can see, the gold detai looks hand painted and there is a lot of crazing, its quite heavy and measures approx 12" high, the rim dia is 4.25 inches it has a gold painted number 5 on the base

    i would love to know the background and makers

      What is on other side ? There also seems to be a stamp or mark under the 5 like in Japanese or Chinese writing or a symbol. Can you see something there ? It looks Asian to me . Hard to see picture on front sideways can you edit it and turn it ? Very pretty

      hi thank you for your comment the other side has a similar picture, there is not mark under the 5 i think its just where the gold colour has run into the crazing so im not sure of its age as if it has run into the crazing its telling me it was crazed at time of manufacture or am i wrong? im not sure how to send more pics
